Quad Drive is a selectable hardware
RAID enclosure for four 3.5" SATA HDDs. Quad
Drive is a true hardware solution and requires no software installation.
It provides TWO hardware RAID modes:
- RAID 0 (Striping): for two disks with same capacity.
- Non-RAID (JBOD)

Quad Drive is designed to store
the content or increase the storage capacity of the shared zone.
It applies to users who needs to extend the storage capacity or
backup data at home or office.
RAID 0 (Striping): Use cheaper and lower capacity
HDDs and integrate them to be a cost-effective "Big Drive".
Non-RAID (JBOD): Connect four consecutive drives through only one
cable (USB or FireWire) to the host computer.

solutions to address the need to store content that is exponentially
growing in both the Digit Home and Small to Medium Sized Business
(SMB) market segments, without sacrificing storage performance.

Peripheral vendors using the SATA drive now have an immediate
and no-risk solutions for adding Quad Drive to
their product lines.They can just change the bridge board on the
back panel to fit the customer's requirement: USB bridge board
, USB & FireWire400 (1394a) bridge board, or USB & FireWire800
(1394b) bridge board.
