Application of X- ATA Port and Y-ATA Port

For RAID1 Application:

X-port		Y-port
Disk 1 (Master)		Disk 2 (Master)

There are 3 ways to attach HDD.

• To use KTCIDEMR Mobile Rack with Black to Black IDE Cable (with Hot-swap function)
• To use standard IDE Mobile Rack (without Hot-swap function)
• To use IDE Cable (without Hot-swap function)

 

For JBOD Application :

X-port		Y-port
Disk 1 (Master)		Disk 2 (Slave)

There are 3 ways to attach HDD.

• To use KTCIDEMR Mobile Rack with Black to Black IDE Cable (with Hot-swap function)
• To use standard IDE Mobile Rack (without Hot-swap function)

For RAID 0 or N-RAID Application :

Two HDDs

Three HDDs (only for N-RAID)

Four HDDs
