U2HEIDE525D-1 is a USB 2.0 Hub & USB 2.0 to IDE (ATA/ATAPI) 5.25" + 3.5" device bay. U2HEIDE525D-1 is ideal for tailgate interface applications for removable-media drives CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, tape drive, and hard disk drive. It allows IDE drives (Master and Slave) to connect to USB 2.0 serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion. Both ATA and ATAPI devices are supported with the same firmware.

U2HEIDE525D-1 allows users to easily hot-swap IDE drive without interrupting the current operation. U2HEIDE525D-1 provides the perfect solution for data backup and transferring of data between computers using IDE (ATA/ATAPI) devices.

U2HEIDE525D-1 combines four key components:

3). USB 2.0 to IDE (ATA/ATAPI) Bridge Board

1). Four ports USB 2.0 HUB
