UF2DSATA02 is USB 2.0 & FireWire400 (IEEE 1394a) to SATA Dual Mode Bridge Board

UF2DSATA02 is a selectable hardware RAID Bridge Board for two SATA HDDs. A true hardware solution, UF2DSATA02 requires no software to be installed on your machine.

It provides 4 hardware RAID mode:

• RAID 1 (Mirroring): for two disks with same capacity.
• RAID 0 (Striping): for two disks with same capacity.
• Spanning: for two disks with different capacity.
• Non-RAID (JBOD).

RAID 1 (Mirroring):
By mirroring technique, UF2DSATA02 maintains data in two disk drives simultaneously and securely. If one drive fails, UF2DSATA02 automatically switches operations to the functional drive and alert the failure. Once a new HDD is installed to replace the defective drive, the UF2DSATA02 will automatic rebuild the entire HDD image in the background, while providing the un-interrupt data connection to the system

RAID 0 (Striping) and Spanning:
By striping/ spanning technique, UF2DSATA02 integrates two HDDs into a big drive.

ESATA-ECS-1R --- eSATA 7pin receptacle to SATA 7pin plug (Reverse Type) signal extension cable (CB-00358) with SCSI 1 connector Form Factor Bracket(BR-00116).

ESATA-ECS-2R --- RJ45 Connector + eSATA 7pin receptacle to SATA 7pin plug (Reverse Type) signal extension cable (CB-00358) with SCSI 1 connector Form Factor Bracket (BR-00184).
BR-00184 was designed to hold one CB-00324 and one RJ45 receptacle port PCBA which come with Areca ARC5030 RAID subsystem.
