Introduction

U2ATAE525MR1 is an USB 2.0 to ATA Encryption enclosure with Mobile Rack.

U2ATAE525MR1 is ideally suited for tailgate interface applications for 3.5" ATA/ Serial ATA hard disk drive. It allows ATA/Serial ATA HDD to be connected to USB 2.0 serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion.

The U2ATAE525MR1 with 128-bit, hardware-encrypted security for use with ATA/SATA Hard Disk Drives using a USB 2.0 interface. The hardware encryption/decryption function, which is fully compliant with the Advanced Encryption Standard(AES), combines with two-level software authentication of passwords to prevent unauthorized access of memory content.

Any unauthorized attempt to decipher the U2-ATAE40's keys is virtually impossible as it would take 149 trillion years to determine all possibilities at an attempted recovery rate of one key per second. This extraordinary level of security is attributed to the 3.4x1038 possible options the U2-ATAE40 offers to code keys.

U2ATAE525MR1 provides the perfect solution for data backup and transferring of data between computers using 3.5" ATA/Serial ATA HDDs.

1). USB 2.0 to ATA Encryption Bridge Board:

    • Supports IBM, Segate, Hitachi and Magistor Hard disk based CF media
    • ROM has built in support for SHA-256 based authentication
  • Security, Authentication and Encryption
    • 128-bit AES Encryption.
    • Data is stored encrypted in memory to prevent reading information directly from memory.
    • Encryption/ Decryption function is embedded in the chip for maximum security.
    • Access only by password that is stored in digest form.
    • Device includes Two Level Security application software for password authentication.

  • Fits the Dimension of 5.25"Device Bay Used on Computer Case or RAID Subsystems.
  • The inner HDD tray provide the screw hole for 3.5" SATA/ATA HDD.
  • The inner HDD tray and mounting frame were made by aluminum which is good for heat dissipation.
  • Ejecting pull handle with miniature keylock.
