Introduction

The S3-PCIE1XG201 is a SATA III (6 Gbps) and PATA to PCI Express Gen2 Host Bus Adapter.

The S3-PCIE1XG201 provides both SATA and ATA/ATAPI functions. It supplies two 6 Gbps SATA ports and one PATA port.

The S3-PCIE1XG201 brings a high-performance 3 or 6 Gbps SATA and PATA hardware RAID solution to desktop/consumer storage applications utilizing a 1-lane PCI Express 2.0 interface. The S3-PCIE1XG201 supports devices compliant with the Serial ATA International Organization: Serial ATA Revision 3.0 specification and the ATA/ATAPI-7 specification.

S3-PCIE1XG201 supports a high reliable and extremely fast variety of storage applications (RAID 0, 1 and JBOD).

    A PCIe Gen 1 compliant slot reaches up to 2.5 Gbps throughput.
