Introduction

The S3-PCIE1XG211-A is 2-port SATA III (6 Gbps) to PCI Express x1 Gen2 Host Card .

The S3-PCIE1XG211-A provides two 6 Gbps SATA ports.

The S3-PCIE1XG211-A, x1 PCI Express to two ports of Serial ATA, enables Serial ATA PHY up to 6Gbps high speed interface, following Serial ATA Revision 3.0 specification.

    • Note:
    For the best performance (5.0 Gbps), S3-PCIE1XG211-A should be installed in a PCIe Gen 2 compliant slot in the host computer.  Most computers have PCIe Gen 2 (5.0 Gbps) throughput on x8 or x16 slots.
    A PCIe Gen 1 compliant slot reaches up to 2.5 Gbps throughput.
