Introduction

DGEAP-PCIE4XG312 is Dual-Port 10GBASE-T RoCE Ethernet (POE+) to PCI Express x4 Gen 3 Host Card designed with Broadcom BCM57416.

DGEAP-PCIE4XG312 is a dual-port 10GBASE-T, PCIe 3.0 x4 Network Interface Card that supports a dual-port 10GBASE-T media interface that is fully compliant with the IEEE 802.3an standard. The card uses the Broadcom BCM57416 Ethernet controller with the integrated dual-channel 10GBASE-T transceiver.

The 10GBASE-T interface performs all physical-layer functions for 10GBASE-T and 1000BASE-T Ethernet on Category 6, 6A, or 7 twisted-pair cable.

DGEAP-PCIE4XG312 features TruFlow, RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE), Data Center Bridging (DCB), Single Root I/O Virtualozation (SR-IOV), Stateless Offloads, and Congestion Avooidance.

DGEAP-PCIE4XG312 supports both RoCEv1 and RoCEv2 simultaneously. RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet) is a protocol enhancement of LifiniBand, which allows Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) traffic to be communicated over Converged Ethernet using Data Center Bridging (DCB).
