Introduction

PCIEX16D02-2 is PCIe x16 Expansion Docking Board.

The PCIe Gen 5 slots are backward compatible and support PCIe Gen 5/4/3/2 add-in card, Target Cable Adapter, and DPU (Super NIC).

It supports the following applications.

  • External PCIe Cabling Application:
    A PCIe docking board extends the PCIe slot from the motherboard to an external enclosure.
  • PCIe Fanout Application:
    A PCIe docking board is used for interfacing a DPU (Super NIC) with a PCIe add-in card.

    • J2 Power Switch: 3pin Header (pitch=2.54mm)
      • Pin 1-2: Connects to the power switch on the chassis front panel
      • Pin 3: CPWRON# (Cable Power ON)
    • All PCIe Slots Pin B11 (Set to PWRON#)
      • All PCIe Slots Pin B11 could be set to either WAKE# or PWRON#. You can power on/off ATX power supply through PCIe Slots Pin B11 (PWRON#).
    • You can power off ATX power supply through PCIe Slots Pin B30 (PWRBRK#).
